HOW DO I JOIN THE CLUB:

Email join.icebreakeraquatics@gmail.com with your swimmers details (name, age, gender, swim experience, contact phone).  All prospective members are offered a swim assessement and two trial swims with Ice Breaker Aquatics.  Membership is processed and swimming will commence upon completion of an Ice Breaker Aquatics enrolment form.

  

POOL ENTRY:

Entry for the PNBHS pool is from Wellesbourne Street.

 

SWIM MEMBERSHIP:

Ice Breaker Aquatics offers club or competitve swim membership.

 

ANNUAL CLUB MEMBERSHIP FEE:

This fee goes towards swim equipment used by coaches poolside, club night support, carnivals etc.

 

COMPETITIVE MEMBERSHIP FEE:

The decision to join your swimmer as a competive swimmer should be held in conjunction with the coach. This type of membership allows a swimmer to participate in meets that are held outside of the Swim Manawatu region. The competitive fee is set by Swim New Zealand, which they retain a portion, along with a portion to Swimming Manawatu. The annual fees are from 1 July - 30 June. This fee cannot be offered on a pro rata basis, if you join as a competitive member later in the season.

 

SQUAD FEES:

Fees are payable by the term. The fee is dependant of the squad you are in and the number of sessions you attend. Please contact the club treasurer for more information.

 

ACCOUNTS:

Accounts are produced by our club treasurer each term. if you do not receive an invoice within 5 weeks of joining please contact icebreakeraquaticstreasurer@gmail.com

 

HOW CAN A PARENT BE INVOLVED:

The club is run by a commitee of volunteers, if you feel you have skills to offer in this area please contact the club administrator on icebreakeraquaticssecretary@gmail.com.

If your child is wanting to compete you are encouraged to train to become a Time keeper. You can start practicing with a stop watch at club nights, and volunteer at club meets as a timekeeper.

 

COMMUNICATION:

Communications to membership is via email (as provided in the membership application), a closed facebook Ice Breaker Aquatics group and noticeboard at the pool.
